REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

We’re a small business committed to delivering quality products and unforgettable experiences. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported from the moment you order to the moment your item arrives. Here’s how we handle refunds, exchanges, and service cancellations in a way that’s fair, transparent, and stress‑free.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS:

If anything arrives damaged or defective, we’ve got you.

  • Fill out the form below with the following information: You may request a replacement or full refund for damaged or defective items within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • To help us take care of you quickly, please fill out the form below with:

    • Your order number

    • A brief description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the item and packaging depecting the issue

  • Once we review your request, we'll follow up with next steps. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method and approved replacements will be shipped to the same address your order was originally delivered to. 

DIGITAL PRODUCTS:

We want your digital experience to be smooth and stress-free.

  • If a digital file is defective or you’re having trouble accessing your download, just reach out — we’re happy to send a replacement link or help you troubleshoot.

  • Digital products are non‑refundable, but we will always make sure you receive what you purchased

 

CATERING & EVENTS:

We’re honored every time someone chooses JA Yardstyle for their event. Because our services require advance planning, staffing, ingredient sourcing, and in some cases travel, we reserve your date exclusively for you. To keep things fair for both our clients and our small team, here’s how our cancellation policy works.

Booking & Deposits:

  • To secure your event date, payment is due in full at the time of booking.  This allows us to lock in staff, begin planning your menu, and reserve the date exclusively for your event.

Private Chef Services & Destination Events (Within the U.S.)

These events involve travel, prep time, and limited booking windows.

  • Full refund if cancelled 91+ days before the event

  • 50% refund if cancelled 61–90 days before

  • No refund if cancelled 60 days or less before

If you need to reschedule outside the no-refund window, we're happy to apply your payment to a new date based on timing and availability.​

Atlanta-Based Catering

For local catering services within the Atlanta area.

  • Full refund if cancelled 61+ days before the event

  • 50% refund if cancelled 31–60 days before

  • No refund if cancelled 30 days or less before

Rescheduling may be possible depending on timing and availability.​

International Events

International events require extensive planning, travel coordination, and limited availability.

  • 75% refund if cancelled 91+ days before the event

  • No refund if cancelled 90 days or less before the event.

We're always happy to discuss rescheduling options when possible.​

Why These Policies Exist

As a small business, each event represents a significant commitment of time, staffing, and resources. When a date is reserved, we turn away other clients and begin preparations well in advance. These policies help us operate sustainably while still offering flexibility where we can.
